Aryaveedu Heritage

Events at Aryaveedu

Ayiraveedu Tharavad, also known as Aryaveedu, an ancient Nair aristocratic family with the title of Elayadam (Elayidom / Elayadom), is located in Edappally South Village, Kanayannur Taluk, Ernakulam District, near Puthiya Road Palarivattom. It is said that the family got the name ‘Ayiraveedu’ because of the patriarchy of the area where more than a thousand families lived. Now the family is spread over the Puthiya Road, Vennala, Kakkanad areas. Many of the family members are living in other states in India and abroad.

Based on the available documents, ancestral knowledge and current practices, the aim is to have a family experience of the Aryaveedu Heritage, History, Paradevatha, Upasana Moorthis, Family Customs, Rituals and Genealogies, as well as keep track of the growing family tree future. It is the One-Stop place to know about the Aryaveedans.
